A total of 980,000 Spanish adults with internet access connected to the final of the music reality 'Operación Triunfo' on February 19th at some point during the broadcast, which accounts for 2.9% of the adult population. However, this percentage rises to 17.5% among young adults aged 18 to 24, totaling 580,000 individuals, and up to 20% among men of this age group compared to 16% among women.

  • These data confirm that the talent show naturally appeals to a younger audience, with its acceptance decreasing as the age of viewers increases.
  • Following the 18 to 24 age group (with a reach of 17.5%), individuals aged 24 to 35 were the most avid consumers of the program, with a reach of 5.7% (290,000 people).
  • Beyond the age group of 35 to 44 years, the reach of the gala drops sharply.
  • But what if we measure the consumption of other options that may coincide with the final of Operación Triunfo, such as on-demand viewing of the second season of Machos Alfa on Netflix or two programs airing at the same time on television?
